Help Us Give Back This Holiday Season
With the start of November and Thanksgiving right around the corner, the holiday season has officially begun. A time to celebrate with friends and family, eat delicious food, and give and receive gifts. Shopping lists must be checked off and parties need to be planned. But in all of that chaos, it’s easy to forget about those less fortunate than ourselves. For the 15% of the population living at or below the poverty line, the reality of the holiday season looks much different. But with a little help from the community, it doesn’t have to.
Adzedia has teamed up with Second Harvest, a local food bank in Orange County to raise money to feed those in need. In an effort to raise not only community awareness, but also involvement, we want you to be part of our mission to give back during the holidays. For every new follower on Adzedia’s Twitter and Instagram and every new like on our Facebook page, Adzedia will donate one dollar to Second Harvest. A one dollar donation provides enough food for three meals. It’s as easy as one click.
Donating is only one of the many ways to give back during the holiday season. Volunteering is another great way of spreading love and offers the opportunity to see first-hand the difference you can make. On November 19th, Adzedia’s team will be volunteering at Someone Cares Soup Kitchen. We will be preparing and serving meals for more than 300 people, as well as helping with clean up and spreading holiday cheer.
There are thousands of charities supporting different causes, making it easy to find one that touches your heart. TH2 Technologies, an expert IT consulting company, has created their own fundraiser alongside A21, a non-profit organization working to end human trafficking. Together, they aim to rescue and rebuild lives that have been affected by human trafficking. In the first day alone, they raised over seventy dollars from generous community members.
We can all make a difference. Whether it is donating, volunteering, or simply spreading the message, each and every one of us has the ability to make a positive impact in the lives of others. It’s just one step on the path to making this world a better place. Join us on this journey.
